We probably had a 70% chance to win the State series before it began and 40% to win the FSU series. Roughly a 30% chance to win them both.

Welp, no chance of winning both series now. Still a possibility of not losing either series.

Yep that’s right. And just FYI, that 70% figure I gave the other day was my estimate of what our % chance was to win the State series at the beginning of the series…..not a hindsight assessment after we went up 1 game to 0.

This weekend was basically a push on our tournament resume, didn’t help us or hurt us.

FSU series will be hard to win. If we do win it, we are a lock for top 8. If we lose 2 out of 3, we will be right on the borderline and it depends on how some other teams do and how we do in the ACCT.

Their ace gave up 4 earned runs and threw 94 pitches in five innings.

Knapp’s only thrown 57 pitches.
 
Win one of the next 2, lock up a national seed. I was watching the Tennessee-Arkansas game last night, the media push for the SEC/slurp fest for them will be strong in the next few weeks, especially until Selection Sunday/Monday- just a warning
 
great win on paper but just like in football and basketball i think the acc is over-rated. take care of business and business and get a top 8 seed then we will see if the rankings of the acc is justified

Heels have really turned it up a notch. Not losing against State and beating FSU in Tallahassee is very impressive.
