Wow what a great three days of baseball. Absolutely perfect weather. Wish those delicious blue margaritas at the park didn't cost more than the tickets, because I need at least four of them every game.

A very easy conference schedule where they didn’t play the second, third, or fourth place teams probably contributed. But 8 SEC teams hosting seems a little much.

I’ve been wanting to say for a while this about baseball posters such as wmheel, CFord, HeelYeah2012 on our barely used baseball thread……I appreciate your informed, calm posts about the Diamond Heels.

I never played baseball - I swam competitively from age 6 on…….year-round…..A swimming pool with girls in bikinis or any swim suit seemed preferable to a ball field in long pants in the heat of the summer. At ages 6-11 or so, I might have said, “Girls are stupid and icky;” I still liked looking at them in swim suits. Plus, I was pretty good at swimming.

So, baseball was out for me.

Reading the baseball game thread on IC is worse than reading the free hoops or free Tar Pit game threads.

Baseball fans on IC seem to whine about the umps more than ncsulol fans in any sport. UNC’s players and coaches are stupid and bad according to the baseball game threads - Forbes (and Fox before him) is THE WORST! The umps, refs, and broadcast teams are against UNC.

Why IS THAT GUY PLAYING!?

So, I appreciate you knowledgeable Tar Heel fans who aren’t hyperbolic and/or woe is me!

IC's baseball board is usually pretty decent - it got awful as soon as the postseason started and the front-running basketball/football fans started trickling in who know nothing about the sport or the program; it's just the dregs of those sports' board users.
