Good.20,000 people showed up. Were there 200 for Malone's PC?
It’s an effing press conference.
How soon does UK fire the “Press Conference Hero?”

That’s funny.20,000 people showed up. Were there 200 for Malone's PC?
Personal opinion - and I hate to admit it - but a small part of the "specialness" of UNC was having all-star caliber NBA pros coming back to impart wisdom to the college team. I think alums the last 10-15 years who have gone to the league have struggled to break through to the upper echelons and I think its taken some polish off the vibe from the old heads returning to campus. Am I off base here? Does anyone else feel that?A big thing I took from the press conference was when Malone said that former players said things around the program were not like they used to be. That certainly gave me pause.
He's a Bobby Frasor... a really good player but would have a different role if we got a true elite. As a pg, I agree. However, I think Dixon would be a very good 2g.
what else is there to do in Lexington? That’s funny.
Massive attendance at a UK press conference - press conference. Not even PRACTICE. A PRESS CONFERENCE!
UK fans might be even loonier than ncsulol fans.
Dixon is that oddity. He's a Bobby Frasor... a really good player but would have a different role if we got a true elite.
Exactly….who would you rather have as your governor, Josh Stein or Sarah Huckabee?I mean, would you rather live in Chapel Hill or anywhere in Arkansas?
He’ll, I’d rather have Elmer Fudd than HuckabeeExactly….who would you rather have as your governor, Josh Stein or Sarah Huckabee?
Dixon is that oddity.
A 2-guard who is an OK PG.
He’s that mythical “combo” guard who is a decent PG and SG.
Generally, a “combo guard” is a shortish guard who isn’t a PG and who doesn’t shoot well.
That’s not Dixon.
It's all clickbait, even that tweet. This guy is such a moron. Big, passionate fan base that you’ve constantly needled over the years is starting to give you heat online? What a shocker.
Yeah, it could have been a number of things, like you pointed out.I noticed that too, and it could be read in a variety of ways and could mean several things. Maybe the family feel of the program isn't there as much, maybe Hubert's staff didn't try to keep in touch with players as much, or it may have had nothing to do with Hubert or his staff and referred to other things - the inconsistency from season to season, the changes that came with the new NIL and easy transfer system, or something else. At any rate it was concerning to hear.
But sometimes a Coby White or a Joe Forte. The combo guards we usually get are the Dex Stricklands and Seventh Woodses of the world.
That sort of thing can happen gradually and the people that follow the team closely probably don’t even notice all the small changes adding up over time.A big thing I took from the press conference was when Malone said that former players said things around the program were not like they used to be. That certainly gave me pause.
