Hubert Davis is out after five seasons in Chapel Hill. Here are names expected to be on the short list.

I don’t buy Stevens truly being interested, but he’s the first guy we should make say no.

After that I like TJO and Lloyd. I think TJO is a better coach but Lloyd would have an easier transition and is more proven at getting high-end talent.

After that Dusty May, and Donovan if we do t have to wait until the end of the NBA season.

Stevens seems to be the top target, but I remain dubious that he'll actually leave his current job. If he doesn't, then TJ or Lloyd would be my Top 2 choices. My least preferred would be Golden or Oats or Few, for various reasons.

Your list is good, but I'd put Stevens in a tier of his own at the top of the list, move Donovan up with May, Lloyd, and TJ as Tier 1. I'd remove Few entirely--too old.

Mark Few is 63.

Both look fit AND “ridden hard and put up wet.”
