I mean Seth was like a legacy kid also . JP's little brother
Ended up with his own business in town
 
I didn't see many set plays at all, and I didn't see any kind of movement on offense at all besides the on ball screen. It was like the worst of both and just relying on talent to get their own shots and score.

Then UNC sits down with the donors and says "Look, we hear you. We are working on a long term plan to replace Coach Davis. We need a year to get it in place. We will need NIL to get us there. If we can't get a decent roster next year, it will be that much harder to hire a new coach."

And if the donors say, no, we will withhold NIL money next year if you don't fire Coach Davis immediately, then they are shitty fans who are willing to hurt to team to get what they want. I might be willing to call that bluff. Presumably these donors call themselves Heel fans. Are they willing to hurt the program for a year to get what they want? Maybe. Maybe not.

If this coaching search goes to hell and we take our ninth or tenth choice and miss out on a bunch of folks in the portal (and re-recruiting folks to stay here) because it is dragging on, we could be in a pretty awful situation next year. I don't want that.

I think this would be asking a lot of someone to do with their money - invest in something that you 100% believe is not worth it. Also, not sure how another year of similar results (most likely worse results) would make our program more desirable.

Really? They ran a lot of set plays. Execution wasn't always great.

Think Trimble's mom was alluding to plays being called almost every possession late in games...there were many times when the Carolina Pgs would be looking to the sideline for a Hubert call, sometimes even slowing out of an advantage. Thought that was a by-product of having a frosh PG (don't think that was the case each of the past five years).

Yeah, that all sounds good but from the donor perspective, Carolina ALWAYS has a hand out and in their pockets. When you dont see a return on any of that money, I imagine it gets old, fast.

If you feel like UNC donors aren’t getting their bang for the buck, just imagine how State donors have felt for most of the last 40 years.
