Charlie Scott was my attempt to go "way back" for a "what if" candidate. I know this is a Carolina thread but does anyone remember Brian Magid at Maryland?

Brian Magid was a rumored great shooter at Maryland in the mid-‘70’s. He transferred somewhere after never amounting to much at MD.

Magid went to GWU...his free throw stats would suggest that he was quite a shooter.

I don't think so. Better guidance can't de-knuckle a knucklehead. I mean, he played for George Karl in Denver for several years. Karl was widely regarded as a great mentor. He sure helped Kemp and Payton develop. Karl did nothing for Smith.
