Pryce Yates playing tomorrow should be a big lift against Clemson, especially against a QB that is considerably worse when rattled.

I'm worried about max Johnson behind our offensive line
I am worried about Gio Lopez behind our offensive line.

The best weapon against a leaky line is a QB with a quick trigger. Johnson has an average processing time, which is still world's better than Lopez's glacial processing time.

What’s everyone’s score prediction for tomorrow?

I’ve got Clemson 31-13. I know that Clemson has had a really uncharacteristically poor start to the season but there is still a lot of talent on that team, especially on the defensive side of the ball, and while Cade Klubnik is not even good enough to be considered a poor man’s Trevor Lawrence, he is still one of the better quarterbacks we will face. I also think that Dabo has had this game circled even well before they had such a bad start to the season, and especially now after a bye week and with the entire college football world writing them off, he’ll work some of that corny mind game magic of his and they’ll win comfortably.

Clemson 48, UNC 13

I agree. I'm not thrilled about losing Lopez, but Johnson deserves a shot at this point, and Lopez being out gives him that. As bad as Clemson is, I doubt the game will be close, either way.

I'll predict Clemson 28-6. A low-scoring game where it feels like we have a chance to get back into it but can never get the offense going to put points on the board.

Didn't we once beat them like 45-0 under Mack?
Yep! I remember that one. I was 6 years old and remember watching that game with my dad! That actually might be the first UNC game I remember watching with him, now that I think about it.

I'm predicting Clemson wins 52-7
Just hope Dawn Bunting doesn’t get on the team bus afterwards and drunkenly berate the players! Right, @wmheel1287 ?

(That’s the exact score by which Clemson beat UNC in 2006 in Death Valley which led to Dawn getting on the team bus after the game and lighting into the players)

I just noticed this observation. Absolutely as spot on with analysis as usual...
It just proves that conservatives are naturally more optimistic than liberals (or clueless).
Yeah, I'm the ONLY Carolina fan who thought UNC just might have a close game with Central, given they hired a new coach 4 days after we did and brought in about as many players.

Clearly I was too optimistic but I tend to be an optimistic Carolina fan until the data shows me otherwise...like now.

Since everyone is picking Clemson to route UNC, which is certainly a justifiable pick, I'm going to go against the flow and pick UNC to win 24-20.
