Couple of posters on the IC premium board are (independently) claiming that they have heard the firing has happened and thy're just sorting the paper work. The board believes one of the posters works inside the KFC.

Don't shoot the messenger. I have no idea if true or not.

EDIT: In the "Predict when Belichick will be Fired…." thread for those that (still) have access. The posters are heel61 (who is believed to be an insider) and Carolina_Guy (who posted the info and then added a comment that they must be hearing the same as heel61 since they both posted the same information). It's important to note that they both may be hearing and reporting the same incorrect rumor that could be going around, but who knows, maybe it has legs. For my part I'm in wait and see mode.
