As it turns out, playing two of the three worst teams in the ACC – one of which was playing a walk on freshman lacrosse player turned quarterback- does not improvement make.

There is literally nothing fun about watching this style of football. Nothing. It’s miserable. We tackle better. That’s about it.

Thom Brennaman also doesn’t know that running out of bounds with 6 minutes left doesn’t save any clock - especially when you get a first down.

CW Sports is literally the absolute worst.

I hear ya but in my opinion with that little time left, you have to try. It’s surrendering to not try. We almost assuredly would not have picked up the first down if we had gone for it, but you have to try in that situation, in my opinion. But I’ve been told here on this thread that stupid Internet fans can’t possibly know more about situational Football in 2025 than an old geezer who is still playing like it’s 1975 so what do I know!

There was also nothing fun about giving up 68 points to Ga Tech or 70 to JMU.

Can’t we have a happy medium coach/team?
 
Fluke fumble for 7 points on the first drive and a clear stop on 4th down that led to 7 more points, but the scoreboard don't care about woulda, shoulda, coulda. On to Duke.
 
We played like we took the payola to throw the game. Down two scores with six minutes left and on back to back plays we’re snapping the ball with 8 seconds on the clock. When I play NCAA and I’m in full on clock milking mode I snap the ball with more time left on the clock than that.
