Oh, sorry, I'm behind the times. For all of their existence they were FCS/DII. For two years they've been FBS. Obviously more than enough time to become a juggernaut.1. JMU isn’t FCS. They were in the Top 25 most of last year.
2. The 28-3 loss to FCS Furman in 1999 was the low point. But this is very close.
The suck cannot possibly be contained in a single thread. Is there a reason this is a separate thread from the other UNC football thread? Asking genuinely. I am currently on a boat.
Can’t speak for the OP, or the thread title, but the steaming pile of excrement that is currently being dropped is own thread worthy. Is there a reason this is a separate thread from the other UNC football thread? Asking genuinely. I am currently on a boat.
Don't feel bad. We know cfb isn't your main sport.Oh, sorry, I'm behind the times. For all of their existence they were FCS/DII. For two years they've been FBS. Obviously more than enough time to become a juggernaut.
That doesn't make me feel better about it.Don't feel bad. We know cfb isn't your main sport.
If it makes you feel any better, this is JMU's first year of full FBS participation. They were provisional FBS the last two years.
Agree with Zoo, excellent piece...![]()
Douglas: Lumberton loses beloved son — Donnell Thompson | Robesonian
I did not know Donnell Thompson well, having only met him once, but I knew plenty of people who did and nary one uttered a discouraging word.www.robesonian.com
I’m hoping the Dukes score at least 47 in the 2nd half.JESUS . . . 53 points at half . . ?
And now that he doesn't have those two QBs we see exactly where we stand with Mack. He's old and complacent and tired and just doesn't have the energy or drive to do it anymore. He snoozes through games, and so our program snoozes through them as well.Mack gotta go. In his previous 5 years at UNC, he was lucky to have the two best QBs in UNC football history (and while that in itself may not be saying that much in general, those two were legitimately great college QBs), and he still managed to lose 27 games. Twenty-seven losses in 5 seasons is not good, even for UNC football, and certainly not good when you have Howell and Maye.
They've started out on the right foot.I’m hoping the Dukes score at least 47 in the 2nd half.
