Our AD has been making the wrong decision every time with regard to our football program for decades. We never had a chance in this game with opt outs and the complete overhaul our program is undergoing. Criswell getting hurt was just the football gods twisting the knife.
I’m painfully aware. I had season tickets from 1998 to 2016. I rarely missed a game including bowl and preseason (probably helped that we were in Charlotte an inordinate number of times). It’s why I chafe when people blame our fan base for its apathy. How many bought in for decades like me before throwing in the towel? I still love going to Kenan, it’s a unique venue in cfb.

Sorry, I was bolstering your point but didn't make that clear. Totally agree with you.

Bill should reconsider having Kitchens do anything. Realize we are down to scrubs, but a complete lack of organization and leadership. No wonder he sucked at Cleveland. Many high school coaches would have handles this game better.

We likely have the worst bowl game results in all of college football over the past couple decades.

0-5 over the past 5 seasons.

1-8 over the past 11 seasons.

3-12 over the past 21 seasons.

Two of the wins were over Cincinnati and Temple, and the other catalyzed a rule change that would have resulted in a UNC loss.

When does Bill start coaching? I know he's probably going to bring in a whole lot of new talent but for the guys that are going to stay there, it would be very valuable to have those few weeks of bowl practice.

Three freshmen OL, true freshman qb who has never took a college snap and one foot in the portal, and a running back playing qb….im surprised the offense did as well as it did

I posted it earlier, and I know that we were playing without many of our best players, but this game still symbolized nearly everything that Belicheck has been hired to fix and improve. And it really is going to take a total culture change at this point - we're simply a soft program that is easily rolled over by too many other programs, especially on defense. Not much else to say really, other than as someone else noted our bowl record this century is atrocious.
