We left at halftime. It was absolutely brutal.I left in the middle of the third quarter. I know I should have been a better fan, but I just couldn’t take any more of it.
I think the first half was the worst half of football I’ve ever seen any team play, ever.
I'll never forget, during the Bunting years, maybe 2002 or 03, Heels playing Maryland, and UNC punts. Maryland ends up returning it for a touchdown, all while UNC commits multiple penalties on the play, including having 12 men on the field. Even got an extra player and they still couldn't tackle make the play. The 1st half reminded me of that play, extended.I left in the middle of the third quarter. Haha I was at that game too. Maryland was pretty good back then and absolutely woodshedded us.I'll never forget, during the Bunting years, maybe 2002 or 03, Heels playing Maryland, and UNC punts. It was like the ECU game from about 10 years ago. That one was actually worse...Score 50 and LOSE by 20!
Was it though? That game was @ ECU to a Lincoln Riley-coached offense. This one was at home to a much worse JMU team.It was like the ECU game from about 10 years ago. That one was actually worse...
ECU gained 789 yards in 2014. Plus a pick-6.Was it though? That game was @ ECU to a Lincoln Riley-coached offense. This one was at home to a much worse JMU team.
I would agree that the ECU game was the more thorough beatdown, while JMU score got slightly inflated because of special teams blunders and the two pick 6s.ECU gained 789 yards in 2014. Plus a pick-6.
They’d also beaten UNC 55-31 in 2013.
3-0, Heels after stalling at d00k’s 22.Bumparoski
