Wow that's just not a good team Mack put out there. I see talent but no coordination. This 5 minutes might be the ballgame.

Haven’t been able to watch this game but have been checking periodically on the ESPN app.

I see a fumble that led to a score, a blocked FG, and letting up a big run play to let GT steal a FG at the end of the half when they were probably content to run out the clock. Poor execution from a poorly coached team. Par for the course.

I've posted this before and I don't think it's a surprise to anyone who follows UNC football, but Mack generally runs a soft program, imo. I get the impression that there is not much accountability for players not doing what they should in terms of on-field performance, and since he returned (especially starting with the second season of Mack 2.0) there seems to be more emphasis on hype than on team improvement in play as the season progresses. Many other teams show steady improvement throughout a season, while ours (especially on defense and special teams) seem to make the same mistakes over and over throughout a season with barely a sign of improvement. And that's on the coaching staff, including the head coach, imo.

A national CFB podcast that I listen to said that it’s a known thing in coaching circles that Mack’s coaching staffs don’t run hard practices. Like they use tackling dummies and don’t hit. Definitely shows on the field.
