Why is the start time to this game so fucking late? I had to come home and take a nap just to have the energy to watch it.

Carolina up to #18 in the AP poll
Up to #20 in Coaches Poll
Up as high as #17 in others…

I think we started out at #25. Nice to be moving UP in the polls after a pre-season ranking.

Hubert needs a very good, special season to keep his job, and this is certainly a good start. My guess is he'll need to finish in the Top 10 and make a real run in the tourney to be off the hot seat. Given the look of this team so far it's definitely possible, but of course there's always the possibility of injuries (we really need Seth to return as soon as possible) and other issues. If things go south, and they easily could given the difficult games we have coming up without Seth, then the pressure on Davis will only increase. Personally I'm rooting for him, but no doubt this is the make or break year for him. Having said that, it's been a fun team to watch so far and definitely seems a major improvement over last year, and Caleb Wilson has been the real deal.

Pulling so hard for UNC to put together a special season so HD can solidify himself as UNC’s coach for the next decade. The start of the HD/Turner partnership appears promising. If we can add Mingo to Maximo oh boy!

he's not going to reach what we want unless he can score a stud pg. top 25 probably, but not a contender. it all depends upon your expectations are for our bb program.

oh and luka aint all that. wilson and vessar are studs. nothing is going to cover up our lack of a good pg vs really good teams

Up to Christmas.
UK and probably Georgetown are going to be tough without Seth, but still winnable. The rest we should win. As I said earlier, I still think we're much better team overall this year than last year, and this one game hasn't changed my opinion. MSU is a potential Final Four/championship team this year, so losing to them this early in the year is no disgrace, although the score was certainly concerning.
