Yes, and d00k has won all of those preseason championships too - with all that first round talent they were able to purchase with totally untraceable and unaccountable monies paid to those players and their families... well before it was "legal" to do so - pre-NIL. All those Zions and Bancheros et. al. And now that it's "legal" to pay them "all that money" - as long as we're playing "what have you done for me lately..." They still winning those preseason 'ships aren't they?

Not envious at all. I'll take what we've done since 1957 (my lifetime) over d00k in terms of W's, 'ships, first round draft picks, Olympic players (both college and pro), NBA All-Stars, and NBA wins and losses and NBA 'ships.

Has to be. When I think back to Chathamites who have been successful hoopers this achievement stands alone.

Robert Siler played at Wake Forest.
Terrence Newby played at UNC.

There was a 7-footer from Siler City that played at Stetson (Steve _________). Big man from Pittsboro Tyrone Edwards played at ECU and Chatham Central center Melvin Palmer played at NC A&T.

Wow! Impressed you can pull all those names out so quickly!

Hopefully Jarin Stevenson will be the second Pittsboro/Chatham player to be drafted in the NBA.

I'll add that Chuck Snipes from Siler City played at UNCG.

And this is Chuck's son making one of the most amazing shots ever in college basketball.
