I know a lot of modern pop, rap, r&b, and alt rock music but I have a irrational aversion to anything that I think might remotely be associated with modern country music so I think I miss a lot of the folks that are adjacent to that.

If that's what you have to do to avoid Bro Country Music I get it, but these guys are not that.

Check out outlaw country. There's a difference between country artists who write and sing like they want to make it big and those who sing like they hope to make it through the week.

My knowledge of modern music is incredibly embarrassing

I stopped keeping up in 2020. There are not many artists that came out after 2009 that I listen to.

In addition to being a great player, Caleb is just so darn likable! He always looks like he’s having fun, he always seems to have a positive attitude, he appears to constantly encourage his teammates, he plays hard on both ends, etc.
