Absurd dart from Ullmark from distance and off the dribble to put the Heels up 1-0 with about 30 mins remaining.
 
Chance to be an all time bad day

Women in PKs
Volleyball down big early 3rd set (won a tight first, lost 2nd easily)
 
PKs have to be one of the most agonizing things to watch in all of sports.

So relieved we held on but you can’t help but feel bad for that last TT shot taker sending it over the crossbar to lose like that.

We lost the natty to Stanford a few years ago on pks. Thought the Stanford goalie was a jerk at the time. Years later she would kill herself because she was upset at how Stanford handled a Title IX complaint she had made. Can only imagine the stress that a college goalie lives with.
 
I'm not sure what we've done to anger the sports gods, but it seems they've determined that our fall sports teams must lose in the most unlikely, painful way possible.
 
Volleyball moves on with a 4 set win over 6 seed Utep (we were the 11 seed due to rpi but had better computer rankings)
Will likely play at Wisconsin tomorrow night at 8
 
Volleyball swept by Wisconsin. we were Dominated the first but responded well and lost 2 tight sets. Had a set pt in the 3rd but lost 3 straight pts

Big UNC fan in any sport.

Wasn’t this a relatively good season for UNC volleyball?

Best season in many many years
Hope to get softball there soon

Yea. I think Schall is building something. we were actually seeded higher last year, same result though. A couple high end wins this year and almost knocked off Pitt in 5. Very young this year, just lose our Libero (Maddy May) to graduation. she will be hard to replace. We need to upgrade our passing/setting and serving to take the next step into hosting imo
