Hey football fans. UNC travels to Florida to face the University of Central Florida, which had a bye last week. UCF are 2-0 after most recently destroying UNC brethren A&T 68-7, after barely beating Jax St. 17-10.

UCF competes in the Big 12 (yeah, I know, right?) They are also favored by a touchdown. A high probability of winning the game.
I have my doubts that UNC can turn those tables, especially based on the season thus far.

If the defense shows more improvement (read: tackling and not getting beat deep) we may be able to sneak in there... and cover the spread in a loss.
Prove me wrong. Please.

I think the D could be fantastic, hold them to FGs and our O would still lose it for us via ineptitude, field position and TO's
Maybe someday UNC football will be able to have a season in which they actually have a good/great defense and good/great offense in the same season. It seems like far too often we have one but not both, and it proves to be a major Achilles heel throughout that season.

I am not really at all high on UNC Football this season (or ever, anymore) but that 6.5 point spread feels at least three points, if not more, too high to me. I don’t think UCF is any good at all.

I still gotta give it some more consideration I need to read a little bit more about the match up before I make my official projection but my initial gut feeling is to even take UNC outright.

This season if we’re average or mediocre across offense, defense, and special teams, I’ll count us lucky and improving.

The spread at 6.5 is not because UCF is any good at all.

UCF has a bit of a QB question to answer themselves. Their starter got injured in week 1 against Jax St. Both their #2 and #3 guys got playing time against A&T. But now the starter is cleared to practice. Do they go with the guy who won the starting job or stick with who won them both games so far? Maybe the starter comes back in and is rusty?
