UNC Professor suspended

Hey Chris, question for you: Is there any reason you reported this info to us by showing us a video from a well-known alt-right site like Rebel News? Is this a site that you like to frequent to get info?

Another question: Why do you have a problem with anyone labeling themselves as Antifa? Why does your side choose to embrace fascism instead of reject it?

One more question: How do you feel about cancel culture? For or against?
cause the video shows a clip that implies he was chasing a guy at a rally while brandishing a weapon. found with google moments before posting

No it is fine to be called antifa but calling yourself anti something does not necessarily mean that is what you actions are about

Against and i don't believe i said one way or the other what should happen next

Hopefully we vet better than des moines schools

Wait. What?
This is what Dixon claimed happened. Kind of crazy.

"Dwayne Dixon, a University of North Carolina anthropology professor and leader of the armed Antifa group Redneck Revolt, has admitted to chasing James Alex Fields Jr. with a rifle just before he drove into a group of protesters — killing Heather Heyer.

In a Facebook post by Dixon on January 7, obtained by the Gateway Pundit, he wrote:

“I take perverse pleasure in having carried this Spike’s lower in the defense of Justice Park on August 12th. I used this rifle to chase off James Fields from our block of 4th St before he attacked the marchers to the south. Spike’s needs a good lesson in ethics and antifascism.”

He later claimed it happened about an hour before and then changed it to a half hour before. Not sure which block of 4th st he is referring to but I believe she was killed on 4th st (now partially renamed Heather Heyer Way) and the street looks like its only about 8 total blocks.

I hope this doesn’t happen, but I’m growing more and more concerned that UNC is going to become a case in point of what happens when a once respected, once elite public university becomes MAGAfied. We are already losing incredibly talented and accomplished faculty members and researchers left and right to other institutions. If this kind of political partisan bullshit continues to happen at UNC, we are going to look back on our time as a stalwart top five public university in America as firmly in the rearview mirror.
Actually we moved up in the public rankings to #4 from #5 supplanting UVA I believe (might be wrong on that). Of course college rankings have an element of subjectivity to them but it would appear our demise is short lived.

Here he is telling the story with a few other details before a Harvard panel.

Later, during a panel hosted by Harvard University, Dixon said Fields “slow rolled” past him in his vehicle several times.

“One time he paused right in front of me, and I waved him off with my rifle,” Dixon said. “In his last pass he accelerated and a block away he killed Heather.”

So just to be clear you are either against the second amendment and the dudes rifle or his time management? What about the outcome? Shoulder shrug or what? Maybe naming a street after a woman? Come on man!

I'm against the way the second amendment has been interpreted. I am against the outcome that a woman was murdered.

What hypothetical do you think I created?
The one where you speculated, with no basis whatsoever, that seeing this one guy holding a gun had anything at all to do with the Charlottesville attacker ramming his car into people in a different location sometime later? I mean seriously, do you have no shame?

Leaving aside that, of course, we all know that nothing that happened 8 years ago has anything to do with why this professor is suspended now.

Lols. You feel like this has no basis? This is a direct quote from Dixon.
