This is going to be a slow burning scandal, but it will be outrageous once all the fact emerge. It's almost certain we have no idea who was on that boat or what they were doing.

The U.S. military struck a boat coming out of Venezuela for the second time this month, President Trump said today, as his administration continued its deadly campaign on drug cartels that it accused of bringing fentanyl into the United States. The strike occured in international waters and killed three people, Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

“This morning, on my Orders, U.S. Military Forces conducted a SECOND Kinetic Strike against positively identified, extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility,” Trump wrote.

On Sept. 2, the U.S. carried out a strike against a boat carrying illegal narcotics to the U.S. through international waters, the president said, killing 11.

Even if there was evidence they were criminals involved with drugs, that doesn’t carry the death sentence, especially without a trial.
Is it any different than using unmanned drones in the middle east to bomb people from 30,000 feet? I mean, do brown people in Latin America have more standing than brown people in the middle east not to be blown to smithereens?

From a moral perspective, no. From a legal perspective, attacks on international waters are extremely problematic.
