At the outset of an entirely self-inflicted recession is probably not the best time to be talking about other policies sucking.

All of Trump's policies are terrible. He's letting white collar criminals do whatever they want; he's allowing rich people to avoid paying taxes; he's issuing absurd pardons, and not only to J6; he's routinely breaking the law;

But especially the tariffs are terrible. And the wholesale axing of important federal government functions.

actually, numerous blind polls in the lead-up to the election showed pretty overwhelmingly that Americans preferred biden and then harris policy on most things.

the problem is messaging.

As far as I am concerned, El Salvador is holding a legal US resident hostage at the behest of their president.

If I were president I would order the man returned or face a military operation to retrieve the guy.
 
OK GOP controlled congress, it is time to stand up and show your worth. Time to impeach and remove. I believe we have reached the point where the people will back you. This is the time when you should feel obligated to impeach or just pack up and come home. The situation is that we now have a one branch federal government. SCOTUS is to be ignored and Congress has no way forward for anything that doesn't enjoy the blessing of the barbarian wannabe god in the WH. Then... I guess you can wait and hope the sociopath doesn't become a serial killer.

Doesn't work like that though. Real world vs wording a polling question to sound good is different. You're trying to justify a losing argument. Hence the Democratic party is still very unpopular.
 
Of equal concern is the shocking disingenuous response by Salvadorian President Bukele Ortez. He statied he did not have authority to free Mr Garcia from s Salvidorian government prison.
This is a lie to please Donald Trump.
Equally as shocking is Trumps statement suggesting using CECOT to imprison more American citizens in his new Gulag. .

it does work like that, though. the policies themselves are the real world. that's the whole point of blind polling - remove biases and let people pick the actual policy and results that they want.

and Americans pretty overwhelmingly prefer dem policies but many of them vote for republicans because like you, they are stupid and propagandized.
