Every time I read anything, I have my nose rubbed in the fact that I am incredible stupid. The above article is about a brilliant scientist, a colonel in the US Air Force, worked on the Manhattan Project, was part of the team that interviewed German scientists to determine which to bring back to the US, and was instrumental in designing the first US jet engines. And yet because he was Chinese, he was accused of espionage. And even though cleared of all charges, was sent back to China in exchange for some America prisoners. Once back, he almost single-handedly created China's modern military. And now St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago wants to repeat this mistake by sending countless brilliant Chinese students and professionals back to China. I don't want some Bubba, whose technological know-how tops out at how to pull-start a chainsaw, designing our weapon systems.
