Pete doesnt have courage.
He's got plenty of liquid courage. Kinda like ramrouserTells you everything you want to know about the legality of that second strike.
Pete doesnt have the courage of his convictions.
Certainly sounds like it based on NYT coverage. Can’t access the VFair article. Is she admitting that blowing up all these boats has nothing to do with drugs and everything to do with regime change?
That sounds vaguely... oh, I don't know... criminal.Certainly sounds like it based on NYT coverage.
No surprise, but just more evidence that he really is fucking insane, out of his mind, unhinged, and drunk with power now that it is clear that our system of checks and balances and separation of powers has simply broken down. We'll be lucky if don't find ourselves in a serious war within the next year or two, or perhaps sooner.
“…Trump Orders Blockade of Sanctioned Oil Tankers in and out of Venezuela
The president’s announcement further escalates pressure on country’s leader, Nicolás Maduro

If that's all he's doing then he could easily just have texted it while sitting on the toilet around 1 AM like he does most of the time. If he's just going to brag on himself then I guess he's feeling down and needy enough to have to go on national television to get his ego boost. I do wonder if he won't include some kind of "surprise" though, either about Venezuela or something else. At any rate I have no interest in watching any of it, I'll just read about the highlights (or lowlights) here on the ZZL afterwards.According to Ku Klux Klannah Montana he’s going to wax poetic about all the accomplishments of his second term.![]()
Does anyone have any idea what Trump is referring to re: the oil, land and assets stolen from us?
This smells like Russia's strategy in Ukraine.
That is what I was thinking. Is Trump Referring to Chávez’s 2007 Oil Seizures

Venezuela seizes foreign oil fields

Lots of countries nationalized their oil industries in the 1960s and 1970s. Whether it's "wrong" depends on your perspective. People in those countries often feel as though they are merely reclaiming what was taken from them by Western imperialism. I don't know much about the 2007 expropriation. That's at least half a generation after the nationalization wave stopped, and by 2007 a lot of the expropriating countries were starting to hire with private companies because their operations were inefficient.Obviously this is an overreaction to that but what Chavez did was clearly wrong and robbed companies of their investments. It is also an easy way to guarantee no more foreign investment in your country.
