That really gets me. A clipped ear does not grow back. I'm 72. When I was 7 or 8 and recovered from broken bones within 2 or 3 weeks, my ear was clipped by a barber. The open wound healed. But the clipped out part is still clipped out. It never grew back. The ear just doesn't do that. I have a Darwin's point on one ear and a small clipped out spot on the other.

right. cartilage doesn't heal well or quickly or grow back. we've all seen evander holyfield's ear.

hell.....cartilage piercings, little holes made quickly and carefully with sterile equipment, regularly take about a year to heal.
