Yeah, I think Trump being so ultra-dominant in every news cycle is a key to repeated lunatic acts like this. Not blaming him, just noting that his omnipresence in media coverage is not just a political phenomenon but frequently appears/interferes in the popular culture.

What’s wild is how much closer thee guys are getting to Trump. There were a bunch of would be Obama assassins but they never got close enough to cause him or his entourage harm and so went down as quietly handled crackpots when captured.
 
I don't believe for a second that this was fake or that it was a hoax. I think, as I said earlier, when bad people are in charge, people who aren't thinking rationally might try to take them out.

That said, after all of the bullshit lies that MAGA pushed and still continues to push about COVID, vaccines, the election, January 6th, the Minnesota attack, etc.....hell yeah last night's "attack" was fake as hell. Total set up. I'm 100% A-ok with people running with that narrative. Fuck 'em.

People think this stuff is staged? How would that work? The PA shooter is dead and another person died during the shooting. I don't know if bullet hit trump's ear or debris but it was not bleeding then was. And last night? Did someone persuade the guy to throw away the rest of his life in a staged assassination?

You are thinking too much into this. The attack was clearly staged. Just like the 2020 election was stolen. The "how" and "why" doesn't matter.
