Well according to google, adult male coyotes average bw 30-50 lbs. I weigh 225. Pretty sure I could crack some ribs with a well-placed kick and then just lay on top of the other one and gouge his eyes out or strangle him..
 
The “out of sheer rage” was a reference to T.E. Lawrence, I’ve just always liked it. Sorry about that. Also, who sits around and plans on how they’re going to kill two coyotes?

Yes, we are much bigger. But that's not the point.

My dog, who had psychological difficulties that I just had to put to rest couple months ago. When he attacked me, you can't even process it. You think you're ready for something like that, but you're not. He literally bit into my arm and ripped away before I could even think.

You wouldn't have a chance with two coyotes. They don't mess around.

If you were trying to scare them off, yes. You would have a chance. But not killing them. They would fuck you up.

To be clear, I'm not saying I could kill a baboon with my own hands. A baboon would beat the ever-lasting hell out of me, assuming it didn't rip my throat out first.

The point of the baboon thing is that it's between humans. A psychological battle.

It's funny you mentioned that. I read The Seven Pillars of Wisdom, when I was a teen. I always loved Lawrence of Arabia.

And, no, no one sits around planning on how they'll kill two coyotes with their bare hands.

But, again, my point was what would we do in a battle with other humans, who mean us true harm. And they're unarmed, as are we.

Improbable situation but worth thinking about.
 
This whole conversation is ridiculous. You have no idea whether two 40-50 lb. coyotes would “fuck up” a fairly fit 225 lb. man. Maybe they would, maybe they wouldn’t. Neither of us has a clue what would happen…

But again, not my point. And all those examples you presented were just one coyote. Not multiple.

My point is what you would do in a life-or-death situation, with no arms. Same for your opponents. And you couldn't escape.

You have a thing with coyotes. Probably killed your cat or dog. At some point.

I'm hear for you, brother.

I’ve never thought about coyotes in my life except for when I read about that girl getting killed a few years ago. Well, and right now, I guess. But speaking of absurdities, what was your original question? What would you do if you were surrounded by a bunch of men who wanted to kill you? I assume by surrounded you mean at least 3 or 4, if not more. The answer is easy: unless you’re a trained and seasoned fighter, you’re very likely going to die. And even if you are a trained and seasoned fighter, you still probably aren’t going to be able to completely neutralized four or more grown men who are intent on killing you…

I'm sorry about the coyotes and the girl. That's horrible.

And, I still don't think we've understood my point here yet.

Yes, it is absurd. But that's not my point.

Of course 3-4 men would beat you to hell. That's part of my point. They would kill you. I understand that.

What would you do to prevent them from doing so? That's my point.

You may have a better answer, but for me, it would be jumping on them like a baboon and ripping flesh. Take them off-balance. The rest would just run, out of the sheer horror.

But as Zoo stated earlier, none of us knows if we're ready. Especially for that sort of thing.
