OMG, Wordlebot failed to solve this one. And just over 56% have solved in hard mode — worst solve rate I’ve ever seen by a significant margin.

Another crappy one that I got very lucky on mostly because I knew that at least three other possible correct answers had already been used before. I had it down to 3 possible answers after that and used the most common remaining letters which paid off.

I'm confident that there was one over the past few years that had a solve rate in the low 40%.

Just googled and the worst word was PARER.

I'm pretty sure that was the word I was thinking about. I recall talking about most people calling it a paring knife not a parer.
 
Over on the ZZL Wordle Thread, root revealed his 706 day streak was broken by today's word. If that's not an indication of a crappy Wordle I don't know what is.

And my streak of 88 ended as well. Even though I had every letter correct save for the middle letter beginning on guess 3.

Getting the three middle letters correct on line 3 was the magic pill for me.

This is what the WordleBot had to say about my third guess (I have x'ed out the word,) "XXXXX was a solid guess, and a lucky one. There is just one possible solution left, as far as I can tell. You should solve the puzzle on your next turn."

It took me a long time to figure out that one possible solution.
