I have to respectfully disagree with ya there. I always play hard mode - not because I'm a boss or something - but because it forces the player to be more logical/strategic about any subsequent guesses.

That said, I don't think it consistently helps me "win" in fewer guesses anyway

That said, I don't think it consistently helps me "win" in fewer guesses anyway

I think hard mode occasionally leads to a shorter path to the right answer at a much greater risk of busting.

No, that wasn't what I meant. I meant that my normal letter hunt style would have meant less tries this day.

I do agree with your assessment of hard mode.
