I hear you, I had the e and I yellow on then first, the both positioned green via TEPID.Bedeviling 5 for me yesterday. I had the E and the I green on the first guess and went thru several words, including DEVIL, with no more greens or yellows appearing. Finally got a yellow R on fourth guess and it still took me a good 10 minutes to come up with KEFIR. Can't say I don't like the word, it was kinda fun to have a challenge. I dare say FRUIT would've proved (ahem) fruitful yesterday as a starting word...
Somewhat less challenging but still fun 3 today that also took a few minutes...
TEPID is a good starting word. I was using AVOID for the longest time, 3 vowels but that V is usually a dog. I switched to SEPIA a few weeks ago, which means, of course, that AVOID is going to be the answer any day now. Same thing happened when I threw JUICE over as my starting word for something "better." Sure enough, within a few weeks JUICE bore fruit..I hear you, I had the e and I yellow on then first, the both positioned green via TEPID.
Sepia is great. I've been using Aisle for a yr or two. You kinda get habituated to something, but maybe I'll try sepia for a small changeTEPID is a good starting word.
