First Wordle on my new iPhone. Scored a 3. I just said fuck it, get the latest and greatest and be done with it. Kind of odd for me to take that approach, I was a late adapter, rocked the flip phone til around covid when my SIL gave me her old iPhone 8, she said it would change my life, me, pseudo anchorite, pseudo Luddite, snarlinglingly replied no way, I'm not like y'all. She was right, as always. The camera. And everything else. I've snuggled into a comfortable relationship with it over the past few years while remaining certain that I'm using about 2% of the functionality available. Laugh, children, laugh. I'm missing the little button already but have been told that will pass. I really cannot imagine ever having to buy another phone after this, but of course they'll come up with something none of us have thought of that we just HAVE to have and this one I just bought will become a relic, but I think I'll have other things to worry about when that day comes. The people at Apple are so nice, made me feel like a beloved pet, which is not a bad feeling. Not a bad business model either...
