Welp, it happened again. Got the green and blue groups on Connections and then was left to decide which of the remaining groups was ostensibly the most obvious (yellow) group and which the most obscure (purple). I pretty quickly figured out what one of the groupings was and naturally assumed it must be the yellow one (check), but I wanted to truly make the connection of the other group in my mind before deciding. Couldn't do it, so I just cashed in the yellow group and then took the freebie on the purple group without really "getting" it...

You killed me tonight.

Did your theory work?

You must be high on Hawaii vibes.
The theory seemed to work again tonight, though I also wondered about my inherent bias. I can’t really record data when I’m racing a clock, so it is definitely iffy observation going on. In any event, I am mighty stressed on the travel side (and closing or at least resolving the big issues for year-end acquisition financing deals ahead of leaving and getting my mom settled that I am out of pocket for a week plus), TBH, I think the puzzles are my zone out escape space right now.

I am also in year-end closing frenzy mode, so maybe that is good for my puzzling.

And again! Got the green and blue groups first on Connections and then left to ponder which of the remaining was the yellow and purple. Ended up getting the yellow one first and was about to throw in the towel and just click off the last group without really figuring out the connection, but then I got it. Whew. Speaking of whew (or rather, phew), 6 on Wordle...

Year end is always stressful.

I hope your trip provides plenty of relaxation.
