Working 8 hours a day 5 days a week sucks. I get about 3 hours after work to chill if you don't count the time making dinner, eating and cleaning up. Then only get 2 days to do whatever you want for the weekend. I wish I would win the lottery. That would be sweet.

Working 8 hours a day 4 days a week sounds amazing. I average about 70 hours a week between two jobs. Not complaining at all because I enjoy what I do. Would love to be home more though.

I meant 5 days a week. See, I'm so worn out from work I can't think straight.

It doesn't get better, particularly if you find your job a grind.
Yeah, work does kind of suck.

Gotta find some fun in it and always have other things to look forward to.

I have about 12 months to go…

Yeah, it's bullshit. I can't wait to retire.

Move to France. Your original math will work

Wait, you only work 40 hours per week?

Is that even a thing anymore?

Being progressive, I would love for our culture to adopt the four day work week.
My most enjoyable job was doing maintenance work at a state park during summers in college. The pay sucked and you had to clock in and out but the days went fast.

It helped when there were women in bikinis around.

My body would break down now though.

Forgot about the Oklahoma heat. When you would get those long stretches of 100+ temperature days that would wear you out.
