This reminds me of a news story in the ‘80’s.
Young man goes in for an operation the week before his wedding.
His surgeon is an octogenarian.
Not sure what the procedure was supposed to be; turns out the surgeon was a bit confused. He castrated the young man.
Turns out the bride-to-be didn’t want a eunuch for a husband; so, the wedding was canceled.
