A question for other YTTV users. I use it through Roku. Usually when I am watching something I can hit the back button on the Roku remote to get to the home menu and what I am watching is still showing in the background. I noticed yesterday, though, that when I do it now it goes back to the main menu and what I was watching no longer continues to play in the background. Also, before it would have the spinning circle when it was loading something to watch, but now it actually shows "Loading " on the TV.

I use an Amazon Fire Stick and the prior state you describe for Roku is still the current state for me.

I have one TV with the app loaded directly to the Samsung TV+, and another TV that is too old to load the YouTubeTV app, so I’m using a Firestick for that one. Both play whatever I was watching in the background when I hit the back button to go back to the menu/guide.

The old TV with the Firestick shows the word “Loading” when an app is loading. The TV with the app loading directly to the Samsung OS has the spinning circle. (But the MLB TV app I use to watch my Guardians has a spinning baseball!)
