Please consider voting early, if able

The more people who vote the earlier the better, the more focused the get out the vote effort can be. All the vote info, in terms of who,s cast a ballot is public record, and this includes early voting. Early voting makes the get out the vote effort dramatically more effective.

I always wait until 6:59 on Election Day to vote because then, if a race comes down to one vote, I’ll know I was the one who put my candidate over the line.

Just kidding, I usually vote the day early voting begins. But I do see the “vibe” appeal to voting on Election Day.
 
Hey, my oldest daughter got registered in NC (Charlotte). I'm envious as I still haven't escaped the hellhole that is South Carolina.

Any recommendations as to who she should vote for? :D

I remember standing in long lines for ages to early vote in 2000 in Chapel Hill and 2010 in Durham. But also really short lines early voting in Carrboro once. I mostly voted on Election Day when I was in N.C., and it was always pretty quick.
 
I also really like Election Day vibes. I took the day off in 2008 and 2012. This year, I'm taking Nov. 6 off.

My colleague like early voting. She falls into the "in case I get hit by a car" camp. lol

Gender reassignment can be recommended as a treatment for cases of severe gender dysphoria, which has been demonstrated in the relevant medical literature to have high success rates in alleviating the major symptoms of gender dysphoria, including depression and suicidal ideation.

If you want to, you can make an argument for not providing prisoners with medical care. But I don't know what the objection to providing this medical care would be, and how it would be different than other prescribed treatments, other than naked transphobia.

Or are you going to pretend to be worried about the sanctity of women's prison intermural sports?

I’d love to see some data on how often this actually happens and how small the cost is if it does.

I’d be willing to bet it’s a fraction of a percent of the federal government’s paperclip budget.
