Even factoring in a loss of votes for Harris from Michigan’s Arab-American or Palestinian-American or Muslim population, it’s not like that entire population is voter-eligible. Many are under the age of 18. Some others are not U.S. citizens. And then there are many others who just don’t vote (haven’t in the past, likely won’t this election). And it’s not like the entire population is going to refuse to vote for Harris. She will still probably get a lot of votes from within that population. And Biden’s 2020 Michigan victory wasn’t based mainly on votes from that population. They need something to offset the loss of Michigan.
In other words, while losing a substantial number of those votes certainly poses a problem, it doesn’t mean Harris loses Michigan.
