I dunno either. It appeared to me she was looking to be anointed as the Dem candidate, not enter a multi-candidate slog. She hadn’t done the kind of structural work that usually precedes a run for this sort of office … and I don’t think many in California were clamoring for her to run, TBH.This really surprised me - not sure what it means
Yeah, my assumptions are she either 1) felt the nomination was her’s then found out “no” and/or 2) was informed she needs a break to rehab the image. She’s maybe a Pelosi replacement, but IMO her time as a significant national political figure has come and gone. The charisma to meet this moment doesn’t appear to be there, and she’s going to carry the stink of 2024 for a while.I dunno either.
