AD traded to the Wiz? Also Jaden Hardy, D. Russell and Dante Exum to the Wizards

Middleton (salary), AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, the ghost of Marvin Bagley III, two firsts and three seconds to the Mavs.

Wonder if Kyrie has any trade value??

edit: Not Wiz picks that would be crazy. Instead a 2026 pick from OKC and a 2030 pick from GS that is top-20 protected.

Coby is better/more consistent than Collin Sexton, and that’s the role he will be asked to fill so it’s a plus trade without screwing with the rotations. Both are on expiring contracts. If it works out Coby can get an extension in CLT. If it doesn’t he will be a popular free agent guard.

I was wondering the same thing. I wonder if we could get a quality big (a real need) for Ball.
lamelo is the engine for the Hornets' winning streak right now. even with Kneuppel and Miller getting the headlines he leads them in basically all on/off stats. it would be certifiably insane to trade him at this point. I love Coby and he's going to be much better as a backup ballhandler than what the Hornets had before in Sexton/James/Mann, but asking him to be a starter would undo all the progress this team has made since the calendar turned over. lamelo's A:TO is about 2.4, while Coby's is 1.5.

the only reason to move lamelo at this point would be for a Giannis-level player.

I agree. And I don’t want to rock the boat we have right now. But yeah, Giannis was the one player I was thinking of that I would keep an open mind about making a big trade for right now. Not that I’m all for it, but I would keep an open mind and wouldn’t necessarily hate it.
