You're not wrong, but the Hornets have been so bad for so long that anything other than sucking has been a nice change.
I’d say it’s very off brand. The team’s never really turned it around before. This season was a very new experience altogether. We haven’t had turning it around only to come up short in our repertoire.

Dubs got no legs. Snappy twitch is gone, can’t guard nor shoot the 3.

Maybe they fight through it but that’s the kind of thing that usually gets worse not better.

It's no coincidence that the two losing teams last night expanded a lot of energy the previous game just to get there.

What a great step forward for the Hornets. Looking forward to seeing their draft picks.

Just a PSA here: Wemby is good at basketball.

All the time we pour into the MJ-Lebron GOAT debate might be moot in a few years. Wemby has the potential to surpass both.

Detroit vs Orlando gonna be a grinder like I thought.

Didn’t expect them to get down 0-1 outta the gate though. Duren and Jenkins were nonexistent.

Agree. Wemby is the MVP next year and probably many years if he stays healthy. SGA will probably win it this year.

I’ve never seen anyone as dominant on defense as he is while also possessing such great offensive skills.

It’s possible but not probable.
That's unknowable. Not by you, me, or anyone else. If you just want to go with background probabilities -- i.e. there have been X all-NBA players and most of them did not sniff GOAT debate -- I mean fine, but that's ignoring the reasons why Wemby is different.

We could, of course, fall back to the perhaps more boring but much more defensible position that there is no GOAT because players are incomparable over different time periods.

It’s unlikely that any player will become the greatest of all-time. I do agree that he’s the most likely among active players.
