My son is a senior at VCU, and we live in Richmond and go to 5-6 home games a year, so they’re my #2 team.

Good guards…their best player (Hill) is actually their 6th man. Play a 9 man rotation and no one plays 30 mins per game. Solid squad…I’d expect UNC to win a close one, but it’ll be a fight, and VCU could pull the upset.
Prognostication is 2-3 pt game.
On a neutral court, that smells like a squeaker going either way. And no one for Carolina should be surprised whichever way it goes.
Easy to relax on this one. A 6-11 game hardly ever represents a huge upset. Hell, a 5-12 game isn’t even considered a huge upset much anymore… those are almost a given.

Now if you’re 1 or 2 seed, you’d better make a FF or at the very least an Elite 8 appearance or you’ve choked big time.

With the Caleb injury, nobody is expecting that much from UNC. They may just mail this one in, who knows? But if they do, there’ll be no headlines “Heels choked”. On the contrary, the headlines will read “Heels’ injury-riddled season meets a merciful end.”

Oh 100%. Caleb being out for good was such an enormous downer. Full strength, it felt like a team that could catch fire and make a deep run. But alas, it will just have to be a “what if” season.
Yeah, it's kind of depressing.
