I agree Drummond is a good potential comp for Reese, especially if she works to be more well-rounded as a player than Rodman was. (I mean, she's a couple of games into her second year, all comps to long-term players are a little bit based in fact and a little bit based in projection.)Rodman was a late to basketball, old second round pick from Southeastern Oklahoma State. His career path was unique. He's a bad comp for virtually everyone. I see far more Andre Drummond in Reese than I do Rodman.
Rodman was a great player. You've decided that Reese won't be a great player, but I'd say it's far too early to say that. She has one elite skill but has other very good skills. She has a long way to go in terms of shot making (and shot selection, to a certain extent), but the ingredients are there for her to turn into a HOF player.Almost ZERO of Dennis Rodman’s rebounds were mebounds. Plus, Rodman was a GREAT player; Rick Mahorn wasn’t a great player. So far Angel Reese doesn’t look like she’ll be a great player.
Because Rodman was a great player. Angel Reese is not. Have you watched her play?I agree Drummond is a good potential comp for Reese, especially if she works to be more well-rounded as a player than Rodman was. I made the comparison to Rodman for a couple of reasons...
1) Rodman was well-known for off-the-court stuff as well as being a player who instigated on the court, who intentionally got under other players' skin in a strategic way, and who made effort a significant part of his game. All of that is true for Reese at this point in her career, as well.
2) theel mentioned Rick Mahorn...if you're at Rick Mahorn, then how do you not look at his Bad Boy teammate to make the comparison to Rodman? I mean, he's just right there.
She's a couple of games into her second season after being an All-Star her rookie year. You have no way to tell if she'll be a great player at this stage or not.
Have you watched her play? BruhShe’s 23.
Two time first team All-American
Tourney MOP
SEC Player of the year
All-Star as a rookie
First team All rookie
I’m not sure what how the OP relates to her sucking at basketball. Because she had a clip where she missed layups? Ok.
So you think she’s good? She's a couple of games into her second season after being an All-Star her rookie year. You have no way to tell if she'll be a great player at this stage or not.
Yes. She is a good 23 year old woman. She makes mistakes like everyone.Have you watched her play? Bruh
Professional sports is littered with great college players who could not make the transition to the pro level. She’s 23.

She's overall a pretty good player who needs to be a bit better as an interior defender and with a huge issue with shot-making.So you think she’s good?
Have you?
Talk about her basketball ability. Stop trying to make it about something else.Yes. She is a good 23 year old woman. She makes mistakes like everyone.
Fair enoughShe's overall a pretty good player who needs to be a bit better as an interior defender and with a huge issue with shot-making.
But she's still early in her second year, so she's got time to figure it all out. If she can become a good shot-maker (nothing amazing, just good at fairly basic inside shots on a consistent basis), then she has a chance to be a really productive player.
Agree. Let’s keep this about basketball.Smh @ the nonsense culture war, like the legit version of the nonsense culture war, making it's way to the ic offshoot.
Yes and it’s brutal.Have you?
