Approval/Disapproval Polls

Good lord.
People have been predicting since his first term that he would go below 40% at some point, and it appears to finally be happening. The problem is that it doesn't really matter at least through next year's midterm elections, as the GOP has complete control of all three branches of government, and they don't give a damn about polls or approval ratings - the only thing they care about is their fear of Dear Leader and especially his MAGA base. Even if he drops to 35% he'll still be the most popular figure within the GOP, and he's incredibly vindictive, so they'll stay in line no matter what. The only real way to restore sanity to government is vote his minions out of office next year.

I suspect we’ll have to do that by truly overwhelming numbers to make up for the fuckery that we will undoubtedly have to confront.
