We've been here before: many, many times over the last decade. Let's see if the voters actually follow through on it in 10 months.

Even with repeated acknowledgment of these facts, they'll vote for him again anyway, aka, Chris Sununu Syndrome. Hell, 85% of triple-Trump voters don't know what the hell the WSJ is (nor do they likely even care).

The Dems' challenge is how to break though that bubble, and they ain't anywhere close to being there yet.

They don’t need to break through to those people. They don’t decide elections (remember Robinson got 40% of the vote). They need to break through to the low-information swing voters.

The 36% of eligible US voters who DID NOT VOTE in the last (or previous) elections. More people did not vote at AT ALL for anyone than voted for Trump. That is a large pool of voters that need to be tapped.

Breaking through to the 15-20% in the mythical “middle” is difficult. It’s entirely possible that in 10+ months, Americans look at this mediocre economy and shrug their shoulders and say, “OK.” Giving the Democrats a tiny House majority and a solid Republican Senate.
