Best singing voice of your generation

I'm Gen X, so probably Whitney Houston for the women and Freddy Mercury for the men. Mariah Carey could be another one for the women. I think Prince and George Michael's voices are underrated, too.

Freddie Mercury was definitely not Gen X. He was an early Boomer, born even before my dad. Prince was a later Boomer (born in 1958). George Michael was born right around the dividing line of Boomers and Gen Xers.

(I understand that you might be thinking in terms of singers who were performing after Gen Xers came into existence).

Yeah, I thought it was about singers who were popular to your generation.
