I used to enjoy watching Bill Maher, but where he lost me was when he more and more had quacks on as guests to push anti-science/junk science messages. It started before Covid when he had on anti-vaxxers who alleged that vaccines were linked to autism, a position for which he himself tended to vouch. But it really got out of hand post-Covid. He would have doctors/science professors on to focus on areas of medicine and science way outside of their areas of expertise, but suggest that because they were doctors or had a science background that they knew what they were talking about.
Many of them were proven fraudsters and quacks.
