This game looks too much like so many other Hubert Davis coached losses. It’s not good.

Right. But this type of loss happens way too often under Hubert. Again, people were celebrating UNC being ranked 12. That’s nothing to celebrate at UNC.

Their guards were so much quicker than ours. We could not stay in front of them on D and they disrupted our ability to run our O through our bigs on the other side. Our guards will be our demise.

I’m not a Hubert hater either. But there have clearly been major issues during his tenure. I don’t think pointing those out makes anyone a hater.

Well, he ran off the guards he had. Not sure if they would have been better on defense because Hubert switches everything on defense. And of course he made no adjustments on offense to counter their defense. The half court offense has always been crap and not a real team offense at all.

I don't think anyone is celebrating being ranked no. 12. I think we were happy with ,13-1 and some good wins. The only loss Tlto a title contender without Trimble. But mostly I think people are happy that we have assembled a team that lots of folks believe can make a run. We will see. We lost Jackson and cadeau and several players contributing at other schools but we have a fun team to watch with great upside. But we ran into a buzzsaw today clearly. Hopefully it makes us better

Shot the ball pretty well, especially Stevenson so that’s big for his confidence. Otherwise not much to build on.

Early game, post-new years, a thousand miles from home. Not a huge surprise since this team isn’t a well-oiled machine. Burn the tape and move on.

would feel a hell do a lot better if Dean was coaching. That being said, they shot well over their heads

I truly hope it makes better too. I honestly want Hubert to be great.

I just don’t see that type of consistency from him. Too many bad seasons. Too many bad losses.

This loss just gives me bad flashbacks.
