It’s a slippery slope to start holding Dook to a clear higher standard than our own program.

If winning the ACC regular season, tournament, making the FF, going 3-0 against us is some unacceptable travesty, what does that say about our last few seasons?

It says the playing field became uneven a decade or so ago.

dook has underperformed on a grand scale since 2015.

I certainly recognize that Dook has figured out how to consistently bring in the most talent year over year since they started the one and done pipeline. My point is that I still view UNC as an equal to Dook. I’m not going to start handicapping our results on the court when comparing them to theirs just because their recruiting strategy is different than ours.

dook figured out how to pay players the most $. I don't give them too much credit for that prior to 2 years ago when it became legal.

They don't have some sort of magical formula they just pay better.

I’m not kissing anyone’s ass or blowing anyone’s coach. My only point is that I hold UNC to the same standard as Dook.

Honestly though this is my fault for eating the trash and getting into a back and forth with one of the most obtuse posters to ever grace a message board lol. Idiotic and naive? Take a look in the mirror for once, guy.

And I still say there needs to be a separate thread about Coach HD where his detractors, his fans, and those still on the fence can go and vent one way or another instead of tagging on the end of a ritmos/game thread. Let the game threads and donboscos biorhythm threads stand alone instead of turning each one into a back and forth about Hubert depending on if we won or lost said game.

UNC Sports Thread 'Hot Stove: UNC Basketball'

After UNC loses a game it should have won to a team it should beat 70-80% of the time, it's time for the off-season and all the reflection and anticipation that it entails.

So, who's coming and who's going? Do Powell and Jackson go pro? Does Washington or Cadeau hit the portal? It could be a confusing and confounding interim over the next few months. Post here what you think will happen in this off-season of discontent.
