Biorhythms for Carolina @Virginia: Noon Start

So … Dixon and Evans. Looks like Dixon should be getting a lot of those minutes from now on. He sees the floor better, finds his open teammates better, seems to play with more purpose and confidence, and he hits shots.

Helluva win. I felt that in the spirit of go where you go and do what you do, I had to avoid this thread and keep doing what I was doing (posting about Minneapolis shooting).

But really impressive recovery from a lackluster first 20 minutes. I was so disappointed with the first half effort and so thrilled with the second half effort (overall). Night and day.

It was interesting— Veesaar was a weakness in this particular matchup today. Their bigs were too slow to cover Jarin or Caleb and Henry was too soft to stop their bigs getting deposition in the lane.

And Jarin REALLY stepped up. Hube clearly believes in the NBA approach of riding a hot hand and (once we shifted our rotation to get Jarin more minutes/go small(er) inside) it worked out today.

Lots of credit to the team for not folding and then being tough and coming through when things were tight at the end. We overcame a poor rebounding game. I just hope we become a little more reliable from the free throw line. Those late misses had me nervous.
