Biorhythms for Kansas at Carolina, 7 pm tip.

Carolina favored by a hair.
Over under is around 157.5 on most sites.
I don't bet, but I'd take the over in this one.
Heels 82-77

Why are we doing a white out, and why is it only being announced the day before the game? We have quite literally the most iconic color in all of sports and are going to be playing a high profile nationally televised game.
Agree. UNC athletics is HORRIBLE about communicating these things. If they want to do a white out, they need to give everyone a white shirt. Otherwise it's pointless.

I have my White Carolina Shirt...a vintage 1993 Natty one.
My ‘93 title shirt WAS white originally, more yellowed now. Got a lot of wear out of it over the decades, but if it weren’t a natty original, it would’ve been car washing or dusting rag by now. LOL.

Getting this one under the belt early would give us a bit of breathing room and knock a huge monkey off the teams’ back because of who the opponent is.

Fair or not, a loss would turn the heat up all the way lol. The vibes would not be good and the pressure just gets that much greater going into the next big game.
Yep. This is probably the most important early November game I can ever remember for a UNC team and coach. We have an abysmal record in meaningful non-conference games under Hubert; this year we only have 3-4 of those games and this one is probably the easiest (and the only one at home). Lose this game and we won't really have a chance to get ranked again for a month. We won't have another chance for a charged home atmosphere until January at least, and maybe even February.

Winning the game isn't necessarily going to mean everything is OK - this isn't expected to be a vintage KU team - but losing it will really ratchet up the pressure on the team and coaching staff and make our pathway to achieving the fan base's expectations fairly narrow. Really the epitome of a "must not lose" game.

That's the shirt I'm wearing tonight.!!!

I just want to beat Kansas again. We haven't done that since Doherty was coach.

For those affected by YTTV, here's a pirate site that I've never had malware or other significant issues with (just scroll down under "Live TV Channels" until you get to ESPN)...

Thanks. I might do that for myself.

For others, like my technically challenged 80-year-old mother, I can’t do that. I think I will either sign her up for DIRECTV or fubo that are giving a free trial. I think.

Is this expected to be a vintage UNC team?

In all likelihood, win or lose tonight, it is not

Hyperbole is in full effect because it's Kansas

There are feeds on regular YT …

This is ignoring the context of what this season likely means for Hubert. Simply put, this needs to be roughly a top 15-type team or he's probably fired (and not unreasonably so). And also simply put, Hubert has lost far too many of these meaningful non-conference games. I think if we lose this game I would handicap the chances of Hubert getting fired after this season at somewhere around 60%+. because it just gets pretty hard to figure out how we get to being a top 15-type team if we can't win this game. Not impossible by any means - but this is probably, like, our 8th or 9th hardest game of the season. And it will case negative energy over the program for basically the rest of November if we lose this game.

Again, if any game this early could ever be described as a "must not lose" game, this is it.

I never view November games as important. It’s college basketball getting started again. Champions classic and little tournaments. It’s fun. Teams are going to change a lot over the next 4 months. I love it that KU and UNC are playing to kick off the season.

Seems like it’s different for UNC fans right now. There’s Kansas fans that are gonna overreact to this game too because of the last 2 seasons. I’m just hoping for an entertaining game (and a KU dub). Rock Chalk!

From the UNC fan side, I would generally share your perspective if not for (1) Hubert's general struggles in nonconference play, (2) his hot seat in general, and (3) the weakness of the ACC over the last three seasons. KU hasn't really had to worry (in recent history) about having plenty of chances for meaningful wins in conference play. UNC has not had that luxury lately.
