Biorhythms for Kansas at Carolina, 7 pm tip.

I’m going to have to give Trimble some love he scored 17 and was the top rebounder! You always need a steady hand with so many younger players. Great job all around!

And could've easily been more. He forgot how to finish in the first half

Don't love taking five 3PAs (at least several were end of shot clock heaves)

But he should be getting 15 a night easy this year from transition and clear lanes to the basket

We got that 3-headed monster this season. 3 dawgs who can score and dominate a game when called upon - both offensively and defensively. Henri in the post; Caleb as a do-everything forward and Seth at a guard position.

And the complimentary pieces surrounding them are good as well.

Evans will be more than just a serviceable point... pick and roll lobs, hitting the 3 (shooting it confidently and not hesitantly, like so many of our guards recently - who shall remain nameless); facilitating the half court O; pitching ahead on run-outs. I like his game. He's averaged 13.5 pts, 4 asst. and 3 steals ppg in the first two games...

Jarin and Luka seem to be solid contributors as well. Stevenson didn't score a lot last night, but he stuffed the stat sheet with entries in most categories: Only 3 pts, but 6 rebounds, 1 asst, 2 steals, and 1 blocked shot in 23 minutes of action. Luka was OK too: 5 pts, 3 boards and an assist in 19 minutes of PT.

We got 11 points from the bench as well.

The top 6 guys looked really good, especially after halftime.... but the 3 headed monster should provide LOADS of problems for other teams.

Wilson looks longer, quicker, more explosive, and smoother athletically than Marvin Williams……not criticizing Marvin…..he had a wonderful freshman season and helped win Coach Williams his first title. Caleb Wilson looks like he has more skills and athleticism as a freshman…..plus a little competitive meanness.

I see certain elements of a lot of the great athletic bigs we’ve had over the past 30ish years in Wilson. I see a little Wallace, a little Jamison, a little Brice Johnson. Not saying he’s as good as any of them (although he very well may be, and certainly ahead of where Johnson was as a frosh), but there are aspects of his game that remind me of aspects of their games.

BTW, when I wrote “over the past 30ish” years,” I originally wrote “the past 30 years.” Then I realized it was more than 30 years ago when Rasheed Wallace played at UNC. Hard to believe.

he reminds me more of sheed than williams

The sense of things in Coach Davis' post game was that he had not shared any Kansas/UNC history with the team.

But the sense of things from players...Wilson perhaps most important of all as he alluded to in his own post game...is that they have done some homework on such things.

I now that there are posters here that condemn our history but I see it as a great advantage...something that we have that many other schools do not have. Of course Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, even dook, also have history to compare. Other schools have lesser or shorter stories than us.

Love it when young folks search for those outside sources...
